Octoberfest - Thank You

Thank you to everyone who helped with Octoberfest tonight!

Exciting Updates

Today I met with the RAs and Alive Team in MMM to discuss our plans for international cooking night. I'm really excited for their ideas, and will bring them to the next meeting. We will be having the event in the Knightowl, which will provide a big space a kitchen to cook in. So start to think about your recipes!

Also!!! NINJAS!!!! Yes, real NINJAS will be coming!!! I spoke with two people who will be willing to do an event with us about Ninjutsu, I'm not sure on all the details but I heard they are very good and will provide exciting entertainment!!! ^_^

Octoberfest

As a reminder, Octoberfest will be this Monday the 21st from 6:30 - 8pm in the campus center. Please come and check it out!!!
There will be free German food, games, and much more!

Make a Difference Day

On October 16th 2009, Beyond Borders took part in a community service called "Make a Difference Day." 20 Beyond Borders's members showed up and were ready to get to work. We helped elderly people to winterize their home by raking. Our members from Japan, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan worked with other American volunteers for the same purpose "making a difference."
Beyond Borders striving to be recognized as an active student organization not only promoting diversity on campus but also helping other to make St Norbert College's campus as well as the community a better place. This cannot happen without our members' passion and spirit.
Thank you everyone for the wonderful work and just keep in mind you are making the difference.
